Staff Information
COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING:
- A four weeks, training position (unpaid) but with Room and Board. Receive training under the CIT director. Learn how to counsel, how to teach Merit Badges, and more. Work in an area or areas of your choice. A super OJT experience. Get preference next year.
- Requirement:
- 1) A Scout must be 14 years old.
2) Preferable Star Scout or higher.
3) Be willing to work harder than ever before, in an activity with great satisfaction.
JUNIOR STAFF:
- The whole summer (hopefully), at least 5 weeks, paid on a scale + room and board
Requirement:
1) A Scout must be at least 15 years old, preferabley 16.
2) Be a Life Scout or better.
3) Be willing to work harder than ever before, in an activity with great satisfaction.
- DIRECTOR STAFF:
- The whole summer, paid on a scale + room and board
- Requirement:
1) Minimum 18 years old, some positions at least 21 years old.
2) Special training, some need National Camp School (council paid).
3) Ability to organize and lead Junior staff.
4) Have experience or training in area to be supervised.
5) Be willing to work harder than ever before, in an activity with great satisfaction.
Staff members leave camp with the satisfaction of having done a great service to younger Scouts, having worked for a summer in a beautiful environment, and having learned the ability to work well with others in varied circumstance. A job recommended for ANYONE
